
Certified Nurse Aide Training Program
Northwell Health is seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Training Program! We are looking for those who have a commitment to providing quality care and have a passion for helping others. Our CNAs play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, and we are looking for individuals with the necessary qualifications and skills to join our team. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the importance of patient care and the ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills to provide the best possible service. In addition, they will have excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong work ethic. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age. Prior experience in the medical field is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to patients in accordance with Northwell Health standards.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide the best possible service.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Maintain a strong work ethic.
- Follow all safety regulations and protocols.
- Attend all required training sessions for the CNA Training Program.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of patient care plans.
- Assist with patient transfers and support patient mobility.
- Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
