Job Description

Looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team at Northwell Health as an Assistant Vice President for Clinical Initiatives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive the development and implementation of clinical initiatives that will have a direct impact on the quality of patient care and overall success of our organization.   1. Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical initiatives in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  2. Oversee and manage the execution of clinical initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  4. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify trends and best practices in the healthcare industry and make recommendations for implementation.
  5. Lead and motivate a team of professionals to ensure effective and efficient delivery of clinical initiatives.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical initiatives, using data and metrics to track progress and make necessary adjustments.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, administrators, and external partners.
  8. Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creative thinking among team members.
  9. Communicate progress and updates on clinical initiatives to senior leadership and other relevant parties, providing detailed reports and presentations as necessary.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to clinical initiatives and patient care.
  11. Stay abreast of industry developments and trends, and provide recommendations for adapting and improving clinical initiatives accordingly.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Operations, Quality Improvement, And Process Improvement Methodologies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Managing Clinical Initiatives, Including Large-Scale Projects And Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Key Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
