Assistant Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities:

1. Provide professional direction, development, and oversight of the nursing staff in the behavioral health department.
2. Ensure the quality of patient care and safety of the nursing staff.
3. Collaborate with other departments and staff.
4. Provide excellent patient care and be knowledgeable in the field of behavioral health.
5. Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
6. Supervise nursing staff.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures.
9. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other medical staff.
10. Monitor budget and financial performance.
11. Monitor and evaluate job performance of nursing staff.
12. Facilitate continuing education and training of nursing staff.
13. Communicate effectively with other departments and staff.
14. Have exceptional communication and organizational skills.
15. Have the ability to work well under pressure.
