As an Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients, while also supporting and managing our team of healthcare professionals.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the Operating Room, ensuring that the highest level of care is provided to patients.
  2. Manage and support a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and other staff members.
  3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality of care in the Operating Room.
  4. Collaborate with other department heads and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
  6. Train and mentor staff members to ensure they are up to date with best practices and protocols.
  7. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in the Operating Room.
  9. Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the department.
  11. Collaborate with the Manager and other Assistant Managers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  12. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in patient care to continuously improve the quality of services provided.
  13. Act as a liaison between the Operating Room and other departments within the organization.
  14. Assist with budget planning and management for the department.
  15. Promote a culture of excellence in patient care and customer service among staff members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Current Rn License In The State Of New York.

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role In An Operating Room Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Operating Room Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols.
