  1. Support the daily operations of the Cardiology department by coordinating and overseeing various tasks and processes.
  2. Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and enhance the overall patient experience.
  3. Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care.
  4. Monitor and maintain department budget and expenses, making adjustments as needed to ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  6. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork among staff members.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients, their families, and staff members, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  8. Act as a liaison between the department and other areas of the hospital to facilitate efficient and effective patient care.
  9. Participate in various meetings and committees to provide input and make recommendations for process improvement and patient care.
  10. Continuously assess and evaluate department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  11. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in patient care to provide innovative and high-quality services.
  12. Uphold and promote the mission, vision, and values of Northwell Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Supervisory Or Management Role In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Cardiology.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiology Procedures And Treatments, As Well As Medical Terminology.

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Records And Other Healthcare Software Systems.
