  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in the critical care unit.
  2. Utilize advanced knowledge and expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage complex medical conditions.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  4. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
  7. Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  9. Stay current with advancements and changes in critical care medicine.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
  14. Attend continuing education programs to maintain required certifications and licenses.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of New York

  • Advanced Practice Nursing Degree (Msn Or Dnp) From An Accredited Program

  • Certification As An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acnp) And/Or Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (Ccnp)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Acnp Or Ccnp In A Critical Care Setting

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certification
