  1. Oversee and maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards for Northwell Health facilities and practices.
  2. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify any potential compliance issues and develop action plans to address them.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure policies, procedures, and practices align with regulatory requirements.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on all regulatory and accreditation standards, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates.
  5. Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies.
  6. Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
  7. Proactively identify and mitigate potential compliance risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Act as a liaison between Northwell Health and regulatory agencies, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities and reports.
  11. Monitor and track compliance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
  12. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency related to compliance efforts.
  13. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to regulatory and accreditation standards.
  14. Collaborate with external consultants and auditors during on-site visits and inspections.
  15. Communicate and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Accreditation And Regulatory Affairs, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Accreditation Standards And Regulations, Such As The Joint Commission, Cms, And State-Specific Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, While Meeting Strict Deadlines.
