Job Description

We at Northwell Health are looking for an Access Service Representative to join our team! We are a leading healthcare provider and are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. As an Access Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and handling all incoming patient inquiries in an efficient and timely manner.The ideal candidate is a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a strong attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of experience in a customer service role, working knowledge of healthcare regulations, and excellent communication skills. Additionally, you must have the ability to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent customer service to incoming patients
  2. Handle inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  3. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
  4. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  5. Develop and maintain knowledge of Northwell Health services and policies
  6. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to the best of one’s ability
  7. Document customer interactions and maintain records in customer service database
  8. Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements to customer service policies
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of customer service initiatives
  10. Ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded
