Are you a highly skilled and experienced Workday Consultant with a specialization in Payroll? In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our payroll processes using the Workday platform.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters within the organization.
  2. Utilize expertise in Workday to design, configure, and maintain payroll processes and workflows.
  3. Work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to payroll processing in Workday.
  5. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  6. Provide training and support to end-users on Workday payroll processes and procedures.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new payroll initiatives and enhancements.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in Workday payroll to make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Generate reports and analyze payroll data to identify trends and make strategic decisions.
  10. Communicate with external vendors, such as benefits providers and tax agencies, to ensure accurate and timely data exchange.
  11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert for Workday payroll and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.
  13. Participate in testing and implementation of system updates and upgrades related to payroll.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
  15. Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure a smooth and accurate payroll cycle.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Workday Payroll: A Qualified Workday Consultant For Northern Trust Should Have Extensive Experience Working With Workday Payroll, Including A Deep Understanding Of Its Functionality And Configuration Options.

  • Strong Understanding Of Payroll Processes And Regulations: As A Workday Consultant, Payroll Will Be Responsible For Ensuring Accurate And Compliant Payroll Processing. This Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Payroll Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Payroll Processes And Procedures.

  • Experience With End-To-End Workday Implementations: Northern Trust May Require The Workday Consultant To Participate In The Implementation Of New Workday Payroll Modules Or Updates. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience With End-To-End Workday Implementations, Including Requirements Gathering, Configuration, And Testing.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Consultant, The Candidate Will Be Working With Various Stakeholders, Including Clients, Team Members, And Senior Management. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Explain Complex Payroll Processes And Solutions.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: A Successful Workday Consultant For Northern Trust Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Identify And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Payroll Processes And System Configurations. This May Involve Troubleshooting Payroll Errors, Identifying Root Causes, And Creating Solutions To Prevent Future Issues.
