- Lead the venture capital team in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and industry experts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze potential investment opportunities and present recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor and track the performance of existing portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including emerging technologies and market shifts, to identify new investment opportunities.
- Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns and minimize risk for the company and its clients.
- Participate in networking events and industry conferences to represent the company and expand its presence in the venture capital community.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the venture capital team, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team and the company as a whole.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements in the investment process.

Extensive Experience In Venture Capital: The Ideal Candidate For The Vice President, Venture Capital Position At Northern Trust Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In The Venture Capital Industry. This Experience Should Include Sourcing, Evaluating, And Executing Investments In Early-Stage Companies.
