  1. Design and maintain the UNIX/Linux infrastructure to support the company's global operations.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and stability of the UNIX/Linux systems.
  3. Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure the security and reliability of the systems.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the UNIX/Linux environment.
  5. Collaborate with other technology teams to integrate new applications and systems into the UNIX/Linux infrastructure.
  6. Monitor system performance and capacity to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UNIX/Linux technology and recommend ways to incorporate them into the company's infrastructure.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for the UNIX/Linux systems and procedures.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in UNIX/Linux systems.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, in the management of the UNIX/Linux infrastructure.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Unix/Linux Operating Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With The Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Unix/Linux Operating Systems. They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of System Administration Tasks, Such As User And Group Management, File System Management, And System Security.

  • Proficiency In Scripting Languages: A Unix/Linux Hands-On Architect Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Bash, Python, And Perl. They Should Be Able To Write Complex Scripts To Automate Tasks And Enhance System Performance.

  • Experience With Virtualization Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Virtualization Technologies Such As Vmware, Kvm, And Xen. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Virtualized Environments For Efficient Resource Utilization And System Scalability.

  • Knowledge Of Networking And Storage Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Networking Protocols And Concepts, Such As Tcp/Ip, Dns, Dhcp, And Routing. They Should Also Be Familiar With Storage Technologies, Such As Raid, San, And Nas, And Be Able To Design And Implement Storage Solutions For High Availability And Performance.

  • Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills: A Unix/Linux Hands-On Architect Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills. They Should Be Able To Diagnose And Resolve Complex System Issues And Provide Timely Solutions To Minimize Downtime. They Should Also Have A Proactive Approach To System Monitoring And Be Able To Identify And Address Potential Problems Before They Occur.
