  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Northern Trust's technology systems and processes.
  2. Identify and assess potential risks to the security and integrity of these systems.
  3. Create and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  4. Monitor and analyze security data to identify and address any potential vulnerabilities.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve risk management processes.
  7. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify any potential gaps or areas for improvement.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including upper management, IT teams, and external partners.
  9. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared systems and data.
  10. Proactively identify and report any potential security incidents or breaches and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
  11. Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to help employees and stakeholders understand and mitigate potential risks.
  12. Analyze and report on key risk management metrics to help identify trends and areas for improvement.
  13. Participate in company-wide risk management initiatives and contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures.
  14. Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on technology risk management and provide guidance and support to other team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Technology Risk Management Or Information Security.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Risk Assessment Methodologies, Industry Best Practices, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Assess Potential Technology Risks.

  • Professional Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Are Preferred.
