Job Description

As a Technical Coordinator for AML Operations at Northern Trust, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our financial systems.   1. Lead and oversee the technical aspects of our anti-money laundering operations.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain AML compliance solutions.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain AML policies and procedures.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential AML risks within the organization.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate AML risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  6. Monitor and analyze AML systems and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Provide technical expertise and support to the AML team and other departments.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes related to AML.
  9. Train and educate team members on AML policies, procedures, and systems.
  10. Conduct regular audits to ensure AML systems and processes are functioning effectively.
  11. Create and maintain documentation for AML systems, processes, and procedures.
  12. Participate in AML-related meetings, projects, and initiatives.
  13. Act as a liaison with external parties, such as auditors and regulatory agencies.
  14. Communicate AML requirements and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  15. Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues related to AML systems and escalate as needed.
  16. Ensure the security and integrity of all AML systems and data.
  17. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  18. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) Regulations: A Technical Coordinator At Northern Trust Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Aml Regulations, Including The Bank Secrecy Act, Usa Patriot Act, And Other Relevant Laws And Regulations.

  • Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires A High Level Of Technical Proficiency, Including Experience With Data Analysis, Coding, And System Administration. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Troubleshoot Technical Issues And Optimize Processes To Improve Efficiency.

  • Attention To Detail: A Technical Coordinator Must Have Exceptional Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate And Thorough Review Of Aml Processes. This Includes Identifying Potential Red Flags And Conducting Thorough Investigations.
