  1. Conduct comprehensive reviews and validations of risk management processes, including identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  2. Utilize strong analytical skills to identify potential risks and issues within the organization's financial controls.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management strategies and controls.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to risk management and financial controls.
  5. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of review processes and outcomes.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Continuously assess and improve upon existing risk management processes and procedures.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on risk management practices and procedures.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and financial controls within the organization.
  11. Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of risk management controls and identify any potential weaknesses or gaps.
  12. Develop and implement remediation plans to address any identified issues or gaps.
  13. Proactively identify and report potential risks and control deficiencies to senior management.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and teams to implement organization-wide risk management initiatives.

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Requirements: Northern Trust Is A Highly Regulated Financial Institution, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Guidelines, And Industry Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Bodies Such As The Federal Reserve, Occ, And Sec.
