  1. Develop and implement AML remediation and validation processes in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Conduct thorough reviews of customer and transaction data to identify potential red flags and suspicious activity.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective and timely remediation of identified issues.
  4. Communicate complex AML concepts and regulations to team members and other departments.
  5. Monitor and analyze AML trends and patterns to proactively identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations and industry developments.
  7. Prepare and present reports and updates on AML remediation activities to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  8. Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all remediation activities are in line with regulatory expectations.
  9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies.
  10. Provide training and guidance to team members on AML remediation and validation processes.
  11. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AML remediation efforts.
  12. Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of AML remediation activities.
  13. Serve as a subject matter expert on AML regulations and remediation processes, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Participate in industry working groups and initiatives to stay informed on emerging trends and best practices.
  15. Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or concerns related to AML remediation to senior management.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Aml Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aml Laws And Regulations, Such As The Bank Secrecy Act And Usa Patriot Act, And How They Apply To Financial Institutions.

  • Experience In Aml Remediation: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Conducting Aml Remediation Projects, Including Identifying And Addressing Gaps In Processes And Procedures.

  • Strong Analytical And Investigative Skills: The Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Large Quantities Of Data And Identify Potential Aml Risks And Issues. Candidates Should Also Have Experience Conducting Investigations And Making Recommendations For Remediation.

  • Communication And Collaboration: This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Teams, Including Aml Compliance, Risk Management, And Business Units. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Effective Coordination And Resolution Of Aml Issues.

  • Regulatory Knowledge And Compliance Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience Working With Regulators And A Deep Understanding Of Regulatory Expectations For Aml Compliance. This Includes The Ability To Interpret And Apply Regulatory Guidance To Remediation Efforts.
