- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the corporate and institutional trust services division.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing timely and accurate responses.
- Identify and understand the specific needs and goals of each client, and develop customized solutions to meet their trust and financial service needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and legal to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
- Actively monitor and manage client accounts, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide clients with informed and strategic advice.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations, to expand the client base and generate new business opportunities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the overall client experience and increase operational efficiency.
Extensive Experience In Financial Services Industry: A Sr Relationship Manager At Northern Trust Must Possess A Strong Background And Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry, Particularly In The Areas Of Wealth Management And Investment Management.
Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Client Relationships: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Has A Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Clients. This Includes The Ability To Understand Clients' Needs, Communicate Effectively, And Provide Exceptional Service.
Strong Knowledge Of Investment Products And Services: A Sr Relationship Manager Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Investment Products And Services Offered By Northern Trust, As Well As Other Financial Institutions. This Includes Knowledge Of Investment Strategies, Asset Allocation, And Risk Management.
