- Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the continuity of critical infrastructure in the event of a disaster.
- Lead a team of infrastructure and disaster recovery professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful execution of recovery plans.
- Regularly review and update disaster recovery plans to ensure they align with business needs and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical systems and processes that require disaster recovery support.
- Conduct regular disaster recovery drills and tests to evaluate the effectiveness of recovery plans and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities to infrastructure, and proactively develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective support in the event of a disaster.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in disaster recovery technology and techniques, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on disaster recovery best practices and provide training and support to team members.
- Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders to provide updates on disaster recovery efforts and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to disaster recovery and business continuity.
