  1. Conduct thorough assessments of applications and systems to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  2. Develop and implement effective security measures to protect sensitive information.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in application security to continuously improve our processes and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development process.
  5. Monitor and analyze security alerts and respond to potential threats in a timely manner.
  6. Perform security testing and penetration testing on applications and systems.
  7. Document and report security findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.
  9. Participate in incident response and remediation efforts in the event of a security breach.
  10. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  12. Continuously assess and improve our application security posture through risk management and mitigation strategies.
  13. Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure their systems and applications meet our security standards.
  14. Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  15. Participate in security audits and assist with regulatory compliance efforts.
  16. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, IT teams, and business units, to ensure a clear understanding of security risks and recommendations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Application Security With A Focus On Secure Coding Practices, Vulnerability Management, And Threat Modeling.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Such As Owasp, Nist, And Sans.

  • Experience With Security Tools And Technologies Such As Web Application Firewalls, Static Code Analysis, And Vulnerability Scanners.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Influence Cross-Functional Teams On Security Best Practices.
