  1. Manage and oversee the private equity accounting division within Northern Trust.
  2. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with prestigious clients.
  5. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  7. Review and approve financial statements and other accounting documents.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Private Equity Accounting: A Senior Accountant At Northern Trust Should Have A Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Private Equity Accounting, With A Deep Understanding Of Industry Standards, Regulations, And Reporting Requirements.

  • Strong Financial Reporting Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Financial Reporting Skills, Including The Ability To Prepare And Review Financial Statements, Management Reports, And Investor Reports For Private Equity Clients.

  • Knowledge Of Gaap And Ifrs: A Sr Accountant At Northern Trust Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap) And International Financial Reporting Standards (Ifrs) To Ensure Accurate And Compliant Financial Reporting.

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Accounting Software Such As Investran, Efront, Or Other Similar Systems Used In The Private Equity Industry.

  • Excellent Analytical Skills: A Sr Accountant Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Reconcile Complex Financial Data, Identify Discrepancies, And Provide Solutions To Ensure Accurate Financial Reporting For Private Equity Clients.
