  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to asset owners, providing strategic guidance and expert knowledge on various trust structures.
  2. Manage and oversee trust structures for high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with fiduciary responsibilities and company policies.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all trust-related matters.
  4. Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and objectives to develop customized solutions and strategies.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, tax, and investment departments, to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions for clients.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve and enhance trust services.
  7. Review and analyze trust documents, legal agreements, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  8. Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex financial concepts and strategies to clients.
  10. Utilize a keen eye for detail to identify and mitigate potential risks for clients and the company.
  11. Mentor and train junior trust officers to develop their skills and expertise.
  12. Participate in business development initiatives to expand client base and promote the company's trust services.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
  14. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  15. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement and growth of the trust department.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Asset Management: A Senior Trust Officer At Northern Trust Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Relevant Experience In Asset Management, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Asset Classes And Investment Strategies.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Trust And Wealth Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Trust And Wealth Management Principles, Including Fiduciary Responsibilities, Estate Planning, And Tax Laws.

  • Proven Relationship Management Skills: Senior Trust Officers Must Have Excellent Communication And Relationship Management Skills To Effectively Interact With High Net Worth Clients, Investment Advisors, And Internal Teams.

  • Advanced Education And Certifications: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. Additionally, Professional Certifications Such As Cfa, Cfp, Or Ctfa Are Highly Preferred.

  • Leadership And Team Management Abilities: As A Senior-Level Position, The Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Leading And Managing A Team, As Well As The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Colleagues And Senior Management.
