Job Description

At Northern Trust, we are looking for an experienced Senior Estate Tax Accountant to join our talented team of professionals. As a Senior Estate Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive estate and trust tax services to our clients.We are seeking an individual who is an excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong project management and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of estate and trust tax law and regulations, as well as experience in preparing and filing estate and trust tax returns.We are looking for someone who is passionate about working closely with clients to ensure their estate and trust tax needs are met. Responsibilities of a Senior Estate Tax Accountant: • Provide comprehensive estate and trust tax services to clients • Communicate effectively with clients and other team members • Solve complex tax problems • Manage multiple projects • Analyze data to identify potential tax issues • Prepare and file estate and trust tax returns • Remain up-to-date on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations • Maintain strong relationships with clients • Research and interpret tax regulations • Develop strategies to minimize clients’ tax liabilities
