We are currently seeking a Senior Audit Manager to join our team and oversee our asset management and wealth management audit functions.   1. Oversee the asset management and wealth management audit functions for Northern Trust.
  2. Lead and develop a team of auditors to ensure high-quality and efficient audit processes.
  3. Develop and implement audit plans and strategies in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  4. Conduct thorough and accurate audits of financial processes to identify and mitigate any risks or discrepancies.
  5. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including senior management and department heads.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to asset management and wealth management.
  8. Continuously evaluate and improve audit processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  9. Manage relationships with external auditors and regulators.
  10. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  11. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in all audit activities.
  12. Represent Northern Trust in a professional manner and uphold the company's values and standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Asset Management And Wealth Management: A Senior Audit Manager At Northern Trust Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Asset Management And Wealth Management Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Investment Products, Regulatory Requirements, And Industry Best Practices.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Audit Team, The Individual Must Have Exceptional Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Auditors. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Ensure The Team Meets Deadlines And Maintains High-Quality Standards.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Audit Methodology And Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Audit Methodology And Standards Such As Coso And Iia. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Executing Risk-Based Audit Plans And Evaluating Internal Controls.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Senior Audit Manager Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Auditees, And External Regulators. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Business Partners.

  • Relevant Professional Certifications: The Candidate Should Hold Relevant Professional Certifications Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia), Certified Public Accountant (Cpa), Or Chartered Financial Analyst (Cfa). These Certifications Demonstrate A Strong Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Best Practices, As Well As A Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development.
