- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to asset management and wealth management.

Extensive Experience In Asset Management And Wealth Management: A Senior Audit Manager At Northern Trust Should Possess A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Asset Management And Wealth Management Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Investment Products, Regulatory Requirements, And Industry Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Audit Team, The Individual Must Have Exceptional Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Auditors. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Ensure The Team Meets Deadlines And Maintains High-Quality Standards.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Audit Methodology And Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Audit Methodology And Standards Such As Coso And Iia. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Executing Risk-Based Audit Plans And Evaluating Internal Controls.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Senior Audit Manager Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Auditees, And External Regulators. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Business Partners.
