Job Description

Are you a skilled financial analyst with a passion for driving strategic decision-making and optimizing performance? Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Analyst for our Funds Transfer Pricing and Capital Adequacy team. In this role, you will play a critical role in analyzing and reporting on our funding costs, interest rate risk, and overall capital adequacy to support our business objectives.   1. Conduct in-depth analysis of funding costs, interest rate risk, and capital adequacy to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Develop and maintain models for funds transfer pricing and capital adequacy, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  3. Monitor and report on key financial metrics, identifying trends and providing insights to senior management.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, and communicate findings to various stakeholders.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in funds transfer pricing and capital adequacy.
  7. Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to funds transfer pricing and capital adequacy.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  9. Communicate complex financial concepts and analysis in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to funds transfer pricing and capital adequacy.
