Risk & Compliance Program Manager

This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of risk and compliance programs and the ability to create and implement new initiatives to help Northern Trust stay compliant with industry regulations.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as risk management, compliance, or business, and at least five years of experience in a risk and/or compliance-related role. They should have a deep understanding of risk and compliance regulations and be able to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement risk and compliance programs to ensure Northern Trust remains compliant with industry regulations.
2. Monitor and assess risk and compliance regulations to ensure Northern Trust remains up-to-date and compliant.
3. Analyze existing risk and compliance programs to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions and strategies for managing risk and compliance.
5. Create and deliver risk and compliance-related training materials and presentations.
6. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on risk and compliance-related issues.
7. Track and report on risk and compliance program performance.
8. Monitor industry regulations to ensure Northern Trust is compliant with the latest requirements.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies.
10. Assist with internal and external audit processes.
