  1. Provide exceptional service to clients by accurately and timely processing real estate fund transactions and maintaining accurate fund records.
  2. Handle day-to-day fund accounting operations, including reconciliations, cash management, and financial reporting.
  3. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure all client needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to real estate funds to ensure compliance.
  5. Analyze and interpret financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management.
  6. Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns and providing professional and efficient communication.
  7. Continuously strive for excellence in all aspects of fund accounting, seeking out opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
  8. Train and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  9. Maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy while working under tight deadlines.
  10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Northern Trust's values and culture, and actively contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Real Estate Fund Accounting, Preferably With Infrastructure Funds.

  • Strong Understanding Of Real Estate Accounting Principles And Regulations.

  • Experience With Financial Analysis, Reporting, And Budgeting For Real Estate Funds.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software And Systems, Such As Yardi, Mri, And Excel.
