  1. Manage Major Incidents: The primary responsibility of the Major Incident Manager will be to lead and manage major incidents that affect Northern Trust's operations. This includes identifying, assessing, and prioritizing major incidents, as well as coordinating and overseeing the resolution process.
  2. Minimize Impact: The Major Incident Manager will be responsible for minimizing the impact of major incidents on Northern Trust's organization and clients. This includes implementing efficient and effective solutions to mitigate the impact of major incidents on business operations.
  3. Timely Resolution: The Major Incident Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely resolution of major incidents. This involves closely monitoring the progress of incident resolution and taking necessary actions to expedite the process.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In An It Environment, Preferably In A Financial Institution.

  • Strong Understanding Of Itil Framework And Experience In Incident Management Processes.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team, Including Resolving Conflict And Promoting Collaboration.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
