In this role, you will be in charge of driving the value of data and providing meaningful insights to support our business decisions.   1. Develop data strategies and initiatives to drive the value of data within the organization.
  2. Utilize advanced analytical techniques to gather insights and identify trends from large datasets.
  3. Communicate data findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  5. Create and maintain data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and measure the success of data initiatives.
  6. Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics to continuously improve processes and drive innovation.
  8. Train and mentor team members on data analysis best practices and tools.
  9. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  10. Act as a liaison between various departments to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  12. Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
  13. Provide guidance and support to team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  14. Monitor and evaluate the performance of data initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  15. Represent the organization in data-related meetings and events.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Lead - Data Value & Insights At Northern Trust Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret And Analyze Large Datasets To Generate Valuable Insights For The Organization.

  • Data Management Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Data Management Principles And Practices, Including Data Governance, Data Quality, And Data Security.

  • Technical Proficiency: This Role Requires Proficiency In Various Data Analysis And Visualization Tools Such As Sql, Tableau, And Python, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Database Systems And Data Warehousing.

  • Project Management Experience: As A Lead, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Projects And Leading A Team To Deliver High-Quality Data Solutions Within Tight Deadlines.

  • Business Acumen: A Lead - Data Value & Insights Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry, Specifically In The Areas Of Investment Management And Asset Servicing, To Effectively Identify And Address Data Needs And Opportunities For The Organization.
