- Develop and implement effective strategies for identifying and managing issues and incidents within the organization.
- Create and maintain processes and procedures for incident reporting and resolution.
- Lead a team of incident management professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and address root causes of incidents.
- Monitor trends and patterns in incident data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on incident management best practices and provide training and guidance to other employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate incident management updates and progress.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to incident management.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to senior management on incident trends, impact, and resolution status.
- Continuously evaluate and improve incident management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in incident management to ensure Northern Trust remains at the forefront of best practices.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the incident management team and across the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
8+ Years Of Experience In It Service Management, Specifically In Issues And Incident Management.
Extensive Knowledge Of Itil Processes And Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of It Professionals.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Abilities, With A Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Reporting On Incidents And Issues To Stakeholders.
