  1. Develop and manage multi-asset model portfolios for Northern Trust clients.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in investment strategy and portfolio construction.
  3. Lead a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  4. Ensure model portfolios are in line with the company's investment philosophy and risk management guidelines.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
  6. Monitor and review portfolio performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize returns.
  7. Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless implementation and delivery of model portfolios to clients.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve the model portfolios.
  9. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates and address any inquiries or concerns.
  10. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster their professional development.
  11. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives for the department.
  12. Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance within the team's activities.
  13. Represent Northern Trust at industry events and conferences to promote the company's brand and services.
  14. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  15. Act as a key contributor to the organization's success by achieving and exceeding business targets and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Portfolio Management: The Head Of Multi-Asset Model Portfolios Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Multi-Asset Portfolios, Preferably In A Large Financial Institution.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Multi-Asset Class Investments: This Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Various Asset Classes, Including Equities, Fixed Income, Real Estate, And Alternative Investments. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multi-Asset Portfolios.

  • Excellent Leadership And Management Skills: As The Head Of The Team, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Of Investment Professionals Effectively. This Includes Setting Strategic Direction, Providing Guidance, And Ensuring The Team's Overall Success.

  • Advanced Analytical And Quantitative Skills: The Head Of Multi-Asset Model Portfolios Should Have A Strong Grasp Of Financial Analysis, Risk Management, And Portfolio Construction Methodologies. They Should Also Possess Advanced Quantitative Skills To Evaluate Complex Investment Strategies And Make Data-Driven Decisions.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory And Compliance Requirements: Northern Trust Is A Highly Regulated Financial Institution, And The Head Of Multi-Asset Model Portfolios Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulations And Compliance Requirements. This Includes Knowledge Of Investment Guidelines, Reporting Standards, And Risk Management Protocols.
