- Oversee all investment operations for the EMEA region, including trade processing, settlements, corporate actions, and reconciliations.
- Ensure operational efficiency by implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all investment operations, including the timely resolution of any discrepancies or issues.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including portfolio managers, traders, and other business leaders.
- Collaborate with other regional heads of investment operations to share best practices and ensure consistency across global operations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to support the growth and success of the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of investment operations professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Monitor industry trends and developments, and proactively adapt processes and procedures to stay current and competitive.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership on the performance of investment operations and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve overall business operations and drive efficiency.
- Represent the organization in external forums and conferences to share insights and expertise on investment operations.
- Continuously assess and mitigate operational risks to protect the firm and its clients.

Extensive Experience In Investment Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10-12 Years Of Experience In Investment Operations, Preferably In The Emea Region. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Investment Management Processes And Regulations, As Well As Experience Working With Different Asset Classes.
Leadership Skills: As The Head Of Investment Operations Emea, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team. They Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Foster A Collaborative Work Environment, And Make Effective Decisions Under Pressure.
Strategic Thinking: The Svp Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Develop And Implement Long-Term Plans And Objectives For The Investment Operations Team. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Market Trends And Be Able To Identify Opportunities For Growth And Improvement.
Strong Communication And Relationship Building Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, And Be Able To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders. They Should Also Have A Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients And Key Industry Players.
Relevant Qualifications And Certifications: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. Additionally, Relevant Professional Certifications Such As Cfa, Cpa, Or Caia Would Be Highly Desirable. Knowledge Of Different Investment Software And Systems, Such As Bloomberg And Aladdin, May Also Be Required.
