  1. Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks across all business lines and functions.
  3. Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to ensure risk management is integrated into business processes and decision-making.
  4. Monitor and report on key risk indicators to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  5. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in risk management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  7. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  8. Work closely with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to ensure effective risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
  9. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulators and industry associations, to stay informed on emerging risks and regulatory changes.
  10. Communicate risk management policies and procedures to all levels of the organization, promoting a strong risk culture.
  11. Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on risk management and their role in mitigating risks.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to provide risk insights and recommendations.
  13. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the risk management framework and make necessary adjustments to ensure its relevance and efficiency.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on risk management matters, providing guidance and support to all levels of the organization.
  15. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication to achieve common goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field. A Master's Degree In Risk Management, Finance, Or Business Administration Is Preferred.

  • Professional Certification: A Certification In Risk Management Such As The Certified Risk Professional (Crp) Or Financial Risk Manager (Frm) Is Highly Desired.

  • Industry Experience: At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry. Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Risk Management Function Is Required.

  • Strategic Thinking: The Ability To Think Strategically And Anticipate Potential Risks And Their Impact On The Organization. Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Make Informed Decisions To Mitigate Risks.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential In This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Have Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage A Team Effectively. Experience In Presenting Risk Management Issues To Senior Executives And Board Members Is A Plus.
