  1. Develop and implement efficient EDI integration solutions for clients.
  2. Collaborate with clients, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and ensure successful integration.
  3. Configure and test EDI maps, workflows, and processes in accordance with industry standards and protocols.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the EDI integration process.
  5. Ensure data integrity and security of all EDI transactions.
  6. Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on EDI integration processes and protocols.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in EDI technology.
  8. Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation of EDI solutions.
  9. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in EDI transactions.
  10. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders throughout the integration process.
  11. Document all EDI integration processes and procedures for future reference.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and data privacy.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve and optimize EDI integration processes.
  14. Participate in meetings and discussions related to EDI integration projects and provide insights and recommendations.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the company in a positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Edi Standards And Protocols: A Qualified Edi Integration Consultant Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Edi Standards Such As Edifact, Ansi X12, And Xml, As Well As The Ability To Work With Various Communication Protocols Like Ftp, As2, And Sftp.

  • Experience With Edi Mapping And Translation Tools: The Consultant Should Have Hands-On Experience With Edi Mapping And Translation Tools Such As Ibm Sterling B2B Integrator, Gentran, Or Similar Software.

  • Strong Technical Background: A Solid Understanding Of Data Structures, Database Management, And Programming Languages Such As Sql, Java, Or Python Is Essential For An Edi Integration Consultant To Effectively Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Consultant, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial To Effectively Collaborate With Clients, Understand Their Requirements, And Provide Solutions That Meet Their Needs.

  • Project Management Experience: The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Meet Deadlines, And Work Under Pressure Is Critical For Success As An Edi Integration Consultant. Experience In Project Management Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Waterfall, Is Also Desirable.
