Job Description

As a Digital Implementation Project Manager at Northern Trust, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our digital initiatives. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of new digital solutions, from conception to launch, and ensuring their seamless integration into our business operations.   1. Lead the implementation of new digital solutions: Manage the end-to-end process of implementing new digital initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide support and guidance throughout the implementation process.
  3. Develop project plans: Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables, to ensure successful and timely execution of digital initiatives.
  4. Monitor and track progress: Regularly track and report on the progress of digital projects, identifying any potential risks or roadblocks and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  5. Ensure seamless integration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure the seamless integration of new digital solutions into existing systems and processes.
  6. Provide subject matter expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for digital solutions, providing guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  7. Manage project budgets: Monitor project budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital implementation to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  9. Manage project resources: Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including team members, vendors, and external consultants.
  10. Drive change management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new digital solutions across the organization.
  11. Communicate effectively: Communicate project updates, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  12. Drive a culture of continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement in processes, systems, and workflows, and propose and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Project Management.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Digital Or Technology-Focused Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Project Management Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Waterfall, And Experience In Implementing Digital Projects Using These Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And External Vendors.

  • Proficiency In Project Management And Collaboration Tools, Such As Microsoft Project, Jira, And Trello.
