Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant, Vendor Management - Operational Resiliency to join our team. As a key member of our Vendor Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the resiliency and continuity of our operations through effective management of our third-party vendors. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with various internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the highest level of service delivery for our clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong background in vendor management and risk assessment.   1. Develop and implement vendor management strategies and processes to ensure the resiliency and continuity of our operations.
  2. Conduct risk assessments of third-party vendors to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks related to vendor relationships.
  4. Monitor and track vendor performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and address any issues that may arise.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors to ensure open communication and effective partnership.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to vendor management and operational resiliency.
  7. Prepare and present reports to senior management on vendor performance and risk management.
  8. Lead vendor audits and due diligence processes to evaluate vendor capabilities and potential risks.
  9. Work with cross-functional teams to negotiate contracts and service level agreements with vendors.
  10. Develop and maintain a database of vendor information and contracts for easy reference and tracking.
  11. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements related to vendor management.
  12. Train and educate internal stakeholders on vendor management policies and procedures.
  13. Act as a point of contact for escalations and issue resolution related to vendor management.
  14. Participate in regular meetings with vendors to review performance and address any concerns or issues.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to ensure vendor management processes are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vendor Management Or Operational Resiliency Within The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Vendor Management Best Practices And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Operational Resiliency Strategies And Plans.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Manage Vendors Effectively.
