- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of Northern Trust’s Business Continuity Program to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the resiliency and efficiency of business operations in the event of a disruption or crisis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze potential risks and threats to Northern Trust’s business operations and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to business continuity and crisis management.
- Communicate with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on the status of the business continuity program and any potential risks or concerns.
- Lead training and awareness efforts to ensure all employees are knowledgeable and prepared to respond to a business disruption or crisis situation.
- Conduct tests and exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of business continuity plans and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business continuity and crisis management for Northern Trust, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all business continuity activities, including reviews, tests, and exercises.
- Continuously assess and improve the business continuity program to ensure it remains robust and effective in protecting the organization.
- Foster a culture of resiliency and preparedness across the organization by promoting the importance of business continuity and crisis management.
- Handle any business continuity-related incidents or disruptions in a timely and efficient manner, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the resiliency of critical business functions.
- Support the development and implementation of business continuity and crisis management policies, procedures, and standards.
Experience In Business Continuity Planning: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Business Continuity Plans In A Large Organization.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulatory Requirements, Such As Fdic And Occ Guidelines, Related To Business Continuity Planning.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Business Continuity Program Review Specialist Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Review And Assess The Effectiveness Of Existing Business Continuity Plans And Make Recommendations For Improvements.
Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Complex Projects And Coordinating With Multiple Stakeholders To Ensure Timely Completion Of Business Continuity Program Reviews.
Communication And Collaboration: Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role As The Candidate Will Be Required To Work Closely With Various Teams And Departments To Gather Information, Conduct Reviews, And Present Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management.
