
Associate High Yield Portfolio Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate High Yield Portfolio Manager to join our Northern Trust team. In this role, you will help to manage high yield portfolios in accordance with the investment objectives and strategies of our clients. If you are a highly motivated professional with financial expertise and a passion for making a positive impact, then this position may be the right fit for you!To succeed as our Associate High Yield Portfolio Manager, you must have strong analytical and quantitative skills, along with a deep understanding of fixed income markets, including high yield. Additionally, you should be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem solving skills. A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA, CFA, or related advanced degree is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Manage high yield portfolios in accordance with investment objectives and strategies of our clients.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities in the fixed income markets, including high yield.
- Provide research and analysis to assess portfolio performance and make recommendations on investment strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market conditions and trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date on financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure portfolio objectives are achieved.
- Manage portfolio risk within established parameters.
- Review and approve all transactions related to the portfolio.
