As an Associate Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on derivatives to our clients, helping them to make informed investment decisions and manage their risk exposure.   1. Provide expert advice and guidance on derivatives to clients.
  2. Assist clients in making informed investment decisions through in-depth analysis and research.
  3. Support clients in managing their risk exposure by providing strategic recommendations.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments related to derivatives.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  6. Collaborate with team members and other departments to deliver comprehensive and integrated services to clients.
  7. Create and deliver presentations and reports to clients, explaining complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities for clients.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously develop and enhance knowledge of derivatives and financial markets to provide the best possible service to clients.
  11. Actively contribute to the growth and success of the derivatives consulting business within Northern Trust.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  14. Meet or exceed performance targets and contribute to team goals.
  15. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Derivatives-Related Role, Preferably At A Financial Institution Or Consulting Firm.

  • Strong Understanding Of Derivative Instruments, Including Options, Futures, And Swaps.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Perform Complex Financial Calculations And Analyze Market Trends.

  • Proficiency In Relevant Software And Tools, Such As Bloomberg And Microsoft Excel, As Well As Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards.
