In this role, you will work closely with our portfolio managers to support the management and growth of our clients' investment portfolios.   1. Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement strategies for managing and growing client investment portfolios.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on market trends, economic conditions, and individual securities to support portfolio management decisions.
  3. Serve as a liaison between portfolio managers and clients, providing regular updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  4. Monitor the performance of client portfolios and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  5. Assist with the creation and presentation of investment proposals for clients.
  6. Help identify potential investment opportunities and risks for clients.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client portfolios and transactions.
  8. Stay informed of industry developments and trends in order to provide informed recommendations to portfolio managers and clients.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  10. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Global Equities division at Northern Trust.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Global Equities Markets: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Global Equities Landscape, Including Market Trends, Investment Strategies, And Risk Management Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication And Relationship Building Skills: As An Associate Client Portfolio Manager, It Is Crucial To Effectively Communicate Complex Investment Concepts To Clients And Build Strong Relationships With Them. This Requires Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills.

  • Financial Analysis And Modeling Expertise: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Perform In-Depth Financial Analysis And Modeling To Support Investment Decision-Making.

  • Familiarity With Investment Management Systems: The Job May Require The Use Of Various Investment Management Systems And Tools. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With These Tools And Be Able To Adapt To New Systems Quickly.

  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position. Additionally, Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Investment Management Or A Related Field. Professional Certifications Such As Cfa Or Caia Are Also Preferred.
