Job Description

Northern Trust seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Analyst – Compliance, Data & Metrics to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will use data to understand trends, examine risks, and develop actionable strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.To be successful in this position, you must be highly organized and able to multi-task. You must also possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze data to identify trends and risks and develop actionable strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Northern Trust’s policies and procedures.
  4. Maintain and update internal databases and related systems.
  5. Monitor changes in the industry and develop recommendations for changes in policies and procedures.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations to explain trends and potential risks.
  8. Participate in meetings and provide updates on compliance issues.
  9. Answer questions and provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs.
