- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of Northern Trust's compliance policies and procedures to identify any potential gaps or areas for improvement.
- Monitor and analyze changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure Northern Trust’s compliance practices remain up-to-date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement necessary changes and updates to policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies to serve as a subject matter expert for the organization.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to employees on compliance matters to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify and address any compliance issues or violations.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information.
- Participate in external audits and examinations, providing requested documentation and information in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance training programs for all employees.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential compliance risks to senior management and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance-related activities and documentation.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and share knowledge and insights with colleagues to continuously improve Northern Trust’s compliance program.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Northern Trust by upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance Northern Trust’s compliance program to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization and regulatory requirements.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Compliance Or Regulatory Role
Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws, Regulations, And Industry Standards
