Analyst, Alt Investments

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Analyst to join our Alternative Investments team at Northern Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team that is at the forefront of our global asset management organization.The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our Alternative Investments team, where they will play a critical role in driving our strategy for investing in and managing alternative assets. The successful candidate should also have exceptional communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex investment ideas and strategies. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum of three years of experience in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial data and create reports related to alternative investments
2. Develop and implement strategies for investing in and managing alternative assets
3. Research and evaluate new alternative investments and provide recommendations
4. Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify and capitalize on new investment opportunities
5. Develop and maintain relationships with industry peers and other stakeholders
6. Prepare presentations and other materials related to the Alternative Investments team
7. Provide support to other team members in the development of new strategies and products
8. Remain current on regulatory developments and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
9. Provide training and guidance to junior team members
10. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasting for the Alternative Investments team
