Job Description

  1. Conduct detailed analysis of financial transactions to identify potential money laundering and other illicit activities.
  2. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to enhance the effectiveness of our anti-money laundering efforts.
  3. Stay up-to-date on the latest anti-money laundering regulations and industry best practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure alignment and consistency in our anti-money laundering strategies.
  5. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and gaps in our current processes and procedures.
  6. Monitor and analyze data to identify suspicious activity and report any potential violations to the appropriate authorities.
  7. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent financial crime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Communicate and provide recommendations to senior management on potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and risks.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations, findings, and actions taken.
  11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to financial crime investigations.
  12. Continuously assess and improve our anti-money laundering processes and procedures to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on anti-money laundering regulations and provide guidance and support to other team members.
  14. Represent the organization in external meetings and forums related to anti-money laundering efforts.
  15. Uphold a strong commitment to ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity and compliance within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In Aml Compliance And Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Proficiency In Advanced Data Analytics Tools Such As Sql, Sas, And Tableau.

  • Knowledge Of Aml Regulations And Industry Best Practices, Including The Bank Secrecy Act (Bsa), Usa Patriot Act, And Fatca.

  • Professional Certification In Aml, Such As Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (Cams) Or Certified Fraud Examiner (Cfe), Is Preferred.
