Nordstrom is seeking a creative and results-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join our team. This position requires an individual who is passionate about visual merchandising, has excellent communication skills, and is an organized multi-tasker. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to create captivating displays that will attract and retain customers.The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for developing and executing visual plans for Nordstrom stores, ensuring a consistent brand message across all channels. This includes creating and maintaining the visual presentation of windows, in-store displays, and other promotional items. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for the latest fashion trends and an eye for detail.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail setting. You should be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and be comfortable working with store teams and corporate partners. The successful candidate should also be able to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines. A knowledge of the fashion industry and current trends is essential. Experience with Adobe Suite and/or other design software is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
-Create and maintain visually engaging displays in Nordstrom stores to attract and retain customers
-Develop and execute visual plans for Nordstrom stores to ensure consistent brand messaging -Collaborate with store teams and corporate partners to ensure successful implementation of visual plans -Stay up to date on the latest fashion trends and designs -Maintain an organized workspace to ensure deadlines are met -Utilize Adobe Suite and/or other design software to create visuals -Manage promotional items and ensure they are well-presented -Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to store teams and corporate partners
