Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Nordstrom. This Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of our software development projects and ensuring their success. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and possess excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills. If you have a track record of successful technical program management and a commitment to excellence, we’d love to hear from you!Key Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, and/or software engineering • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams • Excellent communication and problem solving skills • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion.
  2. Manage cross-functional teams and ensure successful execution of project goals.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans and timelines.
  4. Monitor project progress and ensure completion of tasks on time and within budget.
  5. Analyze project risks and devise risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Oversee the development and implementation of software systems.
  7. Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
  8. Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure their satisfaction.
  9. Ensure compliance with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  10. Evaluate software system performance and suggest improvements.
