Job Description

If so, Nordstrom is looking for you to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate for Kids' Apparel & Shoes. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual with a strong understanding of the latest fashion trends for children.   1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current fashion trends and styles for children.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by listening to and understanding customers' needs and preferences.
  4. Assist customers in selecting and trying on merchandise, making recommendations based on their style and preferences.
  5. Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
  7. Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management team to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including features, benefits, and availability.
  9. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  13. Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and loss prevention.
  15. Continuously strive to provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers, ensuring they leave satisfied and eager to return.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Retail Sales: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Sales Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of Customer Service, Product Knowledge, And Ability To Meet Sales Targets.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Crucial For A Retail Sales Job. Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers, Colleagues, And Managers To Provide Exceptional Service And Resolve Any Issues.

  • Customer Service Orientation: The Ability To Put The Customer First And Provide Exceptional Service Is A Must For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Natural Inclination To Assist And Engage With Customers, Creating A Positive Shopping Experience And Building Long-Lasting Relationships.
