- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the Kids' Apparel & Shoes department.
- Assist customers in finding the perfect outfits and shoes for their children, taking into consideration their style preferences and needs.
- Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends and product knowledge to provide accurate and helpful recommendations to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service and personalized attention.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the department, including restocking merchandise and keeping displays neat and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Proactively upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and contribute to department goals.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including adhering to company dress code and maintaining product and employee safety standards.
Previous Retail Experience: A Strong Background In Retail Sales Is Essential For A Successful Career In Kids' Apparel And Shoes At Nordstrom. This Includes Experience In Customer Service, Merchandising, And Meeting Sales Targets.
Knowledge Of Kids' Fashion: A Deep Understanding Of Current Trends And Styles In Kids' Apparel And Shoes Is Necessary In Order To Effectively Assist Customers And Make Product Recommendations.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Retail Salesperson, It Is Crucial To Have Strong Communication Skills In Order To Interact With Customers, Understand Their Needs, And Effectively Convey Product Information And Promotions.
