- Greet and welcome customers to Nordstrom's Kids department with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Display a strong knowledge and understanding of Nordstrom's kids' apparel and shoe products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Create a positive and inviting shopping atmosphere for families and children.
- Utilize strong fashion sense and knowledge to assist customers in selecting the best apparel and shoes for their children.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting and selling Nordstrom's kids' products.
- Maintain a clean and organized department to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience for customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through effective communication and follow-up.
- Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and product knowledge in the kids' apparel and shoe market.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and provide excellent customer service.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Uphold Nordstrom's high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously strive to improve sales performance and contribute to the overall success of the Kids department.
Knowledge Of Kids' Apparel & Shoes: A Strong Understanding Of The Current Trends, Styles, And Brands In The Kids' Apparel And Shoes Market Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Sizes, Fits, And Materials For Different Age Groups.
Sales Experience: Previous Experience In Retail Sales, Particularly In The Kids' Apparel And Shoes Department, Is Highly Desirable. Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets And Providing Exceptional Customer Service.
Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Crucial For This Role. Retail Sales Associates Are Responsible For Interacting With Customers, Providing Product Recommendations, And Processing Transactions, So Strong Communication Skills Are A Must.
