Retail Sales Associate - Kidswear & Shoes

- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the Kidswear & Shoes department.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Maintain knowledge of current children's clothing and shoe trends, as well as the brands carried in the department.
- Assist in keeping the department neat and organized, including restocking and merchandising products.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's POS system.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a positive and personalized shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve department sales goals and targets.
- Stay up-to-date on all store policies and procedures, including returns and exchanges.
- Continuously strive to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Work with a sense of urgency during busy periods to ensure all customers are attended to.
- Attend training sessions and store meetings to enhance knowledge and skills.

Knowledge Of Children's Clothing And Footwear: A Retail Sales Associate For Kidswear And Shoes At Nordstrom Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Current Fashion Trends In Children's Clothing And Footwear. This Includes Knowledge Of Sizes, Styles, And Brands That Are Popular Among Children And Their Parents.
Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In Retail Sales, Preferably In The Children's Clothing Or Footwear Industry. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Sales Targets, As Well As Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Attention To Detail: In Order To Provide Excellent Customer Service, You Must Pay Attention To The Smallest Details. This Includes Ensuring That The Store Is Well-Stocked And Organized, As Well As Keeping Track Of Inventory And Completing Transactions Accurately.
Flexible Schedule: Working In Retail Often Means Working Weekends, Evenings, And Holidays. Therefore, A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Willing To Work During Peak Shopping Hours. This May Also Include The Ability To Work Additional Hours During Busy Seasons Or Sales Events.
