- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, locating products, and offering product recommendations.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register and other point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise, folding and arranging clothing, and monitoring dressing rooms.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting price checks and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Proactively seek out and resolve any customer concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date on current sales and promotions to effectively communicate and promote them to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the sales floor.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve customer satisfaction by soliciting and responding to customer feedback.
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, representing Nordstrom's values and brand.
- Support the sales floor by performing other duties as assigned by the store management team.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support Must Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Service To Customers. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Knowledgeable About The Products And Services Offered At Nordstrom.
Cash Handling Experience: As A Cashier, Candidates Must Have Experience Handling Cash Transactions Accurately And Efficiently. This Includes Counting Money, Making Change, And Processing Different Forms Of Payment.
Retail Experience: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Sales Or Customer Service Role. This Experience Will Help Them Understand The Unique Demands And Challenges Of Working In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment.
