Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support

Nordstrom is looking for an outgoing, customer service-oriented Retail Cashier & Sales Floor Support who can help create a great shopping experience for our customers. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service, accurately process payments, and provide support to the sales floor. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat and positive attitude, a passion for customer service, and a desire to learn and grow with Nordstrom.Qualifications:-1+ years of retail, cashier, or customer service experience-Strong interpersonal and communication skills-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment-Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite-Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays-Ability to stand for long periods of time-Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities: -Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner -Accurately process customer payments -Assist customers on the sales floor with product inquiries -Provide knowledgeable recommendations and solutions to customers -Maintain a neat and organized workspace -Organize merchandise on the sales floor to ensure a neat and attractive environment -Process returns and exchanges as needed -Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries -Adhere to all safety and security protocols -Perform opening and closing procedures -Assist customers with special orders -Maintain accurate records of transactions -Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations -Assist in training new team members -Assist in carrying out inventory checks
